Boardgeezer is a spot where I post occasional musings, pictures, and links having to do with snowboarding.
I did one day on a board back in the early '90s, and had a blast. Getting married put boarding on the back burner. Five years later, I marked my divorce with a trip to Whistler, BC over Thanksgiving 1999, and made up for lost time. I logged about 45 or 50 days that season, and in an effort to get more advanced instruction, took and passed the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors level 1 exam for my 41st birthday. The next fall I did a little teaching at one of the local hills and passed my American Association of Snowboard Instructors level 1 certification. Now pushing 50, I usually end up shredding with young'uns typically 10-20 years younger than me, and do my best to keep up!
All boarders, especially all "Grays on Trays" are welcome.
